Blain|Southern, a renowned contemporary art gallery in Mayfair, has been a space I’ve photographed for years. One of the most visually striking projects I worked on was Sean Scully’s Uninsideout exhibition—a powerful collection of large-scale abstract works.

For this shoot, my approach was twofold:

• Documenting the artwork and space – Showcasing the scale, texture, and vibrancy of Scully’s paintings within the gallery environment.

• Capturing visitor interactions – Observing how audiences engaged with the work, drawing visual connections between their clothing, posture, and the surrounding artwork.

As a London-based photographer specializing in art documentation and gallery photography, my aim is to create images that extend beyond the artwork itself—highlighting the dynamic relationship between art, space, and its audience.
